Logo illustration and flyer design for the Native Justice Coalition’s 2nd Annual Anishinaabe Racial Justice Conference. The design is inspired by Anishinaabe star maps, which shows the Great Lynx constellation at one end of sky during the spring, and a sweat lodge at the other (which inspires the meeting lodge in the design). The design also includes Anishinaabe cosmology, representing the upper world, the earth, and the lower world. Half of the upper design shows a night sky, while the other shows the sunrise. The design is meant to show people coming together in Anishinaabe aki.
