Illustrative vector work created for the Native Justice Coalition, for an upcoming racial justice conference. I based the design on birchbark picture frames with quillwork that members of my nation, the Chippewas of Rama First Nation, have made. The Anishinaabe girls in the frame are based on a photo of youth attendees at a previous conference, to show the importance of youth leadership in our communities. The red quilled bears are a protective and decorative element.
